At a high level, this product is about monitoring temperature of vaccines and other temperature sensitive medicines during the storage and transportation in the cold chain. Today, there is no mechanism available to remotely monitor temperature on a real time basis. The system developed will trigger alarms if there is an excursion of the defined temperature range.

This enables proactive intervention in the cold chain management which can not only prevent loss of the vaccines and medicines due to temperature variation but also prevent defective products from being administered to patients.
